Add your card to Google Wallet

Create on the web, then confirm saving in your own Wallet.

Appearance and adding or replacement steps may vary by device and settings.

Google Wallet · consent, saving and edit limits

  1. Select Google Wallet in the personal-card editor, review your information and save.
  2. Read the transfer details on the management screen and consent to transfer and issue this card. Then choose whether to save in your own Google account. Requesting issuance or opening the add screen is not proof of device saving.
  3. Consent is valid for one hour and tied to the card content; expiry or changes to content or language require consent again.
  4. Already-issued Google cards do not change automatically. Contact the operator about reissuing a changed card. Do not repeatedly request issuance or delete your existing copy first.

For saving issues, check your Google account, device support and consent status. Check saving and display on your device. Deleting the web card does not delete its Google Wallet copy.

For the recipient

  1. The sender shows the contact-sharing QR in Wallet.
  2. With a profile-link QR, recipients review shared details. With direct-contact QR, their device reads the embedded details.
  3. The recipient downloads the contact file and chooses to save. Saving and updates are not automatic.

Distinguish sharing, retention and deletion

Show recipients the contact-sharing QR. Keep installation QR codes and secret management links private. Guest-card server access ends 24 hours after creation; sign in and import before expiry to retain the card. Signing in alone does not link it; editing or reissuing does not extend expiry. Deleting a web card does not remotely remove Wallet or address-book copies.
